  Angie Cheong and Pinky Cheung had just finished shooting a scene which required Angie to deliver Pinky's baby for her. The former reportedly did it quite " professionally ".

  It is said that Pinky's character made love to her lover in the dreams and later, got pregnant with his child. However, the latter is a demon child....

Before and After

Joey Meng ( both left and right ) has to put on 80 pounds at one go! But don't worry, she will do it with special makeup.

In MDWV2, she will double-act as her grandaunt again. Thus, she will need to put on the extra pounds using special makeup. However, her bonus pay will be higher than MDWV1.

Mother and Son

Left is Pinky Chueng's turning white hair after giving birth to evil child, Joey Leung ( right ). The latter had also shed his head for the show. It is said that a password is encoded on his head and only after it is solved, can the world be saved from Doomsday.

The Story Plot

The drama has 40 episodes and the first 20 is divided into 4 different topics ( Each topic has 5 episodes ).

1) Count Dracula of The Castle ( Shot in Scotland )

2) The Beauty Contest Nightmare

3) The ICQ Journey ( Shot in Japan )

4) Grandmother Plague

The last 20 episodes is the main factor of the show. Its title is roughly translated as " Marriage of the Last Century ". It is said that the marriage of Vampire King and Nuwa ( a chinese legendary goddess ) will bring about the end of world. Thus, vampire Kuang Tianyou has to try his best to save the mankind....again.

Zhengzhong's Love Story

In The ICQ Journey, Sadako ( Saeki ) of The Ring will bring her virus and hatred to popular cyber chat, ICQ. Zhengzhong ( Du Wen Ze ) happens to come across her while chatting in ICQ and is led to Japan by her. Thus, Kuang Tianyou ( Eric Wan ) and ghostbuster Ma Xiaoling ( Joey Meng ) have to fly to Japan in a showdown with Sakato. In the end, her hatred is dissipated and love grows between the latter and Zhengzhong.

These would roughly be Eric's, Joey's look in MDWV 2.

Just a note: Angie Cheong ( furthest right ) is Joey's ( fourth from left ) auntie in the show and her skirt is extremely short too, and black is the main colour of her outfits. Both of them are descendents of the Ma Clan and possess special powers. The former later falls for the Vampire King ( Simon Yam ) and is even prepared to give up her powers to be with him.

Eric and Kristy, A Vampire's Kiss

When My Date With A Vampire was shown last year in Hong Kong, it received high ratings and comments. Thus, ATV decided to shoot a sequel to it. It is named as the blockbuster of year 2000 and will also shoot on location in Scotland, England.

In Part One, the love between leads Eric Wan and Kristy Yang is only subjected to pure love, and no intimacy. But when it comes to Part Two, they have come a step closer. With a mysterious and romantic old castle as backdrop, they will hug and kiss, adding a touch of romantic beauty to their vampire-human love.

The Confirmed Cast

The overseas cast of MDWV 2 has been confirmed once again. One of the more important roles, will go to Angie Cheong ( right ). She will play the descendant of Ma Family, Ma Dingdang.

  Next, will be Golden Horse winner, Tse Kwan Ho. He will guest-star as Dracula in the first three episodes.

  Last but not least, former TVB actor, Joey Leung ( Li Zhongyi of Detective Investigation Files ) will also star as the grown-up vampire of 20 years later ( see below for further details ). " Sadako " ( Hinoka Saeki ) of The Ring will also guest-star.

She's Ain't Heavy, He's Weak

In MDWV 2, actor Eric Wan ( who plays Tianyou ) had to carry actress Kristy Yang ( who plays his love interest, Zhenzhen ) in a romantic scene.

Shot on location in Scotland, the scene required several takes. Why? Because Eric, weighing only 61 kg, had problems carrying Kristy, who weighs 55 kg. When told that he had to do a re-take, the actor exclaimed, " Are you kidding?!! "

  The crew then teased Kristy for being fat. The amicable actress admitted that she ate a lot during an earlier shoot in Japan but insisted she had cut down on her food in Scotland.

Maybe Eric should start to eat more.

A New Vampire Added

Next, Pinky Cheung is pregnant with Wu Yanhua's child but an evil spirit invades her body. When she fails to get an abortion, Ma Dingdang ( Zhang Huiyi ) ends up delivering her child for her.

The newborn vampire contracts the rapid ageing disease and becomes a grown-up. He is none other than Joey Leung.

He will participate in the last 20 episodes of the show.

In Scotland, Eric and Kristy have to ride on horses. However, Eric accidentally falls from his horse and hurt his ankle. For safety reasons, the scene ended up using extras throughout.

A Terrifying Scene...

Joey Meng fainted during a shoot!

In that particular scene, Kristy was taken hostage by a robber. The former and Joey ended up falling over the roof, which was about 30 storeys high, and Eric had to pull them up. The actresses decided to do the scene personally. However, upon seeing the height from the ground, Joey fainted and was immediately pulled back. Later on, the frightened Kristy hid in one corner and cried.

Short Notes:

• MDWV 2 has 40 episodes.

• Eric ended up cooking for the entire crew in Scotland when the cooking services failed to turn up.

• Hinoka Saeki ( star of the hit horror movie The Ring ) accidentally wrenched her neck during a rape scene in Japan. However she continued with the filming as she felt that it was her own fault. Her character committed suicide after she was raped and turned into an evil spirit.

• Joey Meng suffered various bruises during a fighting scene. Her skirts are still as short as ever, and are specially designed for her.

• The cast were so bored in Scotland that they could not wait to get back to Hong Kong.

• The filming is scheduled to end in March 2000 but Eric's wedding is in February. He declared that the director has to let him go, no matter what.
